since its inception in 2003. Lisa Kupelian and Ani Gharibian,
the founders and owners, identified a need for quality event
planning. We combined that demand with a hands-on approach
to getting things done, and have provided an unique level of
service, marketing and event coordination.

LA Productions doesn’t take the concept of “team”
loosely. At our company, TEAM is the hub of everything we
do. It represents a Talented – Enthusiastic – Adaptable – Motivated
group of individuals, whose relentless focus is on satisfying clients by
fulfilling every need, anticipating the unpredictable and exceeding all

hether it's working with congress in Washington, D.C., or serving her clients in Detroit, Michigan, Lisa Kupelian welcomes a challenge and is driven to represent those she works for in a highly professional and detail-oriented manner. With over 15 years experience in the field of Event Coordination, Lisa is passionate about her work. She has a strong desire to ensure that her client's expectations are exceeded in every case. It is the standard by which she operates and reflects her company's "can-do" attitude at every turn. As co-owner of LA Productions, Lisa believes in a hands-on approach and prides herself on being accessible. She is able to work within any guidelines and deadlines.
isa joined 3P Business Solutions in 2002 as Lead Event Coordinator for its client – Worldwide Facilities Group (WFG) at General Motors University (GMU) Auburn Hills. In her role with 3P Business Solutions, Lisa was the on-site manager responsible for overseeing all customer, staff and building functions. There, she developed a strong skill set to service the needs of a corporate training and meeting facility. On two occasions, Lisa was requested to work on GM executive level events for the Senior Executive Program and Executive Development Program. In both instances, she earned high marks and supporting comments on her project completion exit survey. During this time, Lisa was also recognized by WFG for outstanding customer service.
n 2004, Lisa left 3P Business Solutions to focus on LA Productions, LLC – a full service event planning company. Lisa has a strong belief in how people deserve to be properly treated and feels that the success of a company is directly related to beginning with very high standards.
he opportunity to return to GMU in 2006 was a highlight in Lisa's professional career. LA Productions was awarded the contract for facility management. In her role with this client, Lisa serves as Facility Operations Advisor responsible for seeing the client is properly represented and that all GM policies are fully adhered to. She is also Project Manager for Annual Class Scheduling and plays a lead role in developing and executing the current system used for course material and roster deployment. These two projects directly support GMU.
isa’s love for the game of golf began when she was five years old, and continues today. During her high school career, Lisa was the only female on the Boy’s Golf Team. She also brings her talents with her when working with local charities through her many volunteer efforts including Hearts of Hope - a Michigan non-profit organization to help families whose children are affected by heart defects; and the Armenian Relief Society - a global organization dedicated to helping those in need.
or 20 years, Lisa was an active member of the Armenian Youth Federation. She served in many capacities, including chapter president, advisor and regional council member. Most notably, Lisa served as Chairperson for the millennium celebration of the organization's annual Olympic Games - a five-day event highlighted by Olympic-style sporting events combined with social and cultural activities attracting more than 4,000 attendees representing 11 countries. As Chairperson, she was responsible for overseeing a steering committee and 19 subcommittees responsible for lodging, food, transportation, entertainment, fundraising, logistics, marketing and publicity which produced record financial gains in several areas. This international organization provided Lisa the opportunity to travel across the United States and Canada meeting with members of the community, authors, artists and political leaders.
n 1996, Lisa was awarded an internship with Congressman David Bonior during which Lisa spent four months on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC working with staff, drafting letters to constituents, attending committee hearings, conducting research and contributing to efforts leading to the passage of resolutions and laws. These tasks required careful planning, time management, strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of people.
unique blend of talents has allowed Ani Gharibian to compile an impressive list of successes over a 20-year period in the fields of international business, personal health care and event planning. She applies her far-reaching abilities to LA Productions, LLC, as the company's Director of Business Operations.
ni earned a BBA in Management, Economics and Finance at Northwood University which has served as a strong foundation to the entrepreneurial spirit she possess. Ani enjoys pursuing a career that is both challenging and diverse. She is driven to make all of her companies successful at every level. Ani defines success "as a complete experience that can be measured through a customer’s loyalty and the ability to observe results because of the work that is performed.”
n 1991, Ani, with her brother Shant, opened Exclusive Fitness, a personal training studio in West Bloomfield, Michigan. The fitness center offers one-on-one sessions with personal trainers who focus on a client’s well-being using only the highest quality equipment and techniques. Ani was responsible for keeping track of financials and all human resource elements. In time, Exclusive Fitness discovered a new niche in health care when stroke patients began using the facility. In 2003, Ani was able to leverage her experiences to successfully launch Premier Therapy Centers, a rehabilitation and therapy clinic. With a proven track record for getting results and established relationships with doctors and other medical professionals, the clinic has seen an over 200% growth in its four years of operation.
n 1993 Ani played a key role in the formation of International Trade Consultants (ITC) – an import / export business. The company specializes in the importation of castings and forgings to the United States for railway equipment manufacturers and the automotive industry. The company also offers consulting services for various foundries in America and abroad.
n her role as Executive Vice President at ITC, Ani oversees extensive procedures in several areas and develops training sessions for all suppliers to ensure that products are in full compliance with U.S. Manufacturing Standards. She uses a positive style for communicating expectations to suppliers, determining shipping dates with regards to customs, completing banking transactions and accomplishing all tasks with staff. Ani applies attention to detail to all purchase orders, the monitoring of shipping/delivery dates and the overall needs of the customer. Ani works with suppliers from China, Korea and India. She is knowledgeable in the business and cultural etiquette in a global market. She enhances her knowledge by regularly attending industry conferences and networking to create a strong resource for the future.
ince its inception in 2003, Ani has been a vital component to the success of LA Productions - a full service event planning company. The company’s objective is to offer a standard that is second to none, and Ani’s strengths in the areas of finance and organization provide the clients with a seamless outcome every time. She is largely responsible for contract negotiations and securing future clients.
ith a strong desire to give back to the community, Ani takes an active role in many local and national charities. Ani is proud that LA Productions is a Gold level sponsor for “Touched By A Star” at their annual fundraising benefit for the treatment and care of children with cancer, Hearts of Hope – a Michigan based non-profit helping families whose children have heart defects, community service programs through Farmington Public Schools and events in the Armenian community where she grew up.
n her spare time, Ani has a passion for travel, food and the theater – often times combining the three with trips to New York City or London. To date, her most memorable experience was her first visit to China with her father in 2005.
